Capital Referendum Update: Phase I Projects Completed
Dear East Troy Community,
We are excited to share an update on the progress of our Capital Referendum projects. As of August 2025, all Phase I projects have been substantially completed across the district. Thanks to your support, these improvements are already enhancing the safety, efficiency, and learning environment for our students and staff (learners).
To help showcase the transformation, we’ve included before and after photos of some projects linked HERE >
Prairie View Elementary School
Secure Entry: A fully enclosed, safety-rated entryway now enhances security, with a new visitor service window, secondary access point, and updated aesthetics.
Windows: Original windows were replaced with energy-efficient, safety-enhanced models that improve visibility and reduce heating/cooling loss.
Roof Replacement: Outdated roofing was replaced with a durable 60-mil EPDM membrane, improving insulation and extending roof life.
Gym Wall Repair: Long-standing water infiltration issues were resolved with a new modular wall system and vapor barrier.
Chiller Replacement: A new, energy-efficient chiller provides better climate control and cost savings.
East Troy Middle School
Roof Replacement: Similar to Prairie View, the middle school roof was replaced with a high-efficiency EPDM membrane, backed by a long-term manufacturer warranty.
Site Work & Traffic Flow Improvements: A new traffic pattern now separates bus and parent traffic, with extended sidewalks and safer pedestrian access. These improvements were developed in consultation with staff and families.
